Thinking of Building a PC... Opinions and tips?

Matt.J.S

Hello LTT Viewers,

Thinking about building a PC but I haven't finalized all my parts.

Current Build

I5 6700K

16 GB

Coolermaster hyper-212-evo

Asus 7170 - A

GTX 1060 6GB FTW

^^^ Don't know what that is

Corsair Carbide 200R series

1 Inbuilt fan

Any tips from you guy's collective intellectual wisdom.

do you mean an i5 6600k or a i7 6700k? also i would highly recommend getting a ssd boot-drive as they make your computer much faster on startup and feel overall snappier.

Just know you won't get the best OC performance that you are paying for with a K series and Z170 Board with a 212 evo... Also I highly recommend a SSD, they are super cheap these days

There are plenty of good boards, the ASUS one is great, that is the brand I personally stick with. If you don't want to watercool than maybe something like a Noctua D15 or Cryrorig R1, but those are pretty huge and for not much more money you can get a decent AIO
