Random Blocked Pages

I have cable internet, with a netgear CM500 modem, and a nighthawk R7000 router. When connected to WIFI I will get random Page can not be loaded errors. Refreshing the page produces the same error. I have to take my device off of wifi and then onto LTE to load the page. Once the page is loaded i can go back on wifi and surf like normal. Most of my devices are Mobile Devices. I have a computer hard wired into router that i have never experienced the issue with. What is going on and how can i fix it? I have about 10+ devices connected to my internet at any 1 time.

it could be a DNS issue, I had similiar issues when I was still figuring out DNS server in DDWRT.

Seems like your DNS servers are indeed blocking those pages. Try changing the DNS servers on your router to public ones listed in this article.

8.8.8.8

8.8.4.4

Don't! It's a trap! It's now going to redirect everything to moc.buhnrop.www now...  

 

Jokes aside, yeah, change it to google's DNS servers, it should help to solve your internet issues.

Still cant open P*rn sites in here with that DNS though  Vpn FTW.
