So i want to get 2x 1080ti's to upgrade my build, but I don't know what kind of gpu cooler I should get, a blower type, or open air?

 

pc specs:

i5 6600k

Asus z170-ar

zotac 980ti

Crucial Ballistix 16gb ddr4

NZXT s340

EVGA supernova g2 650 (I'm gonna upgrade this)

Deepcool CAPTAIN 240

2x 500gb ssd raid 0

Get open air and get a 7700K. The 6600K bottleneck them...

No, the only thing that you have to do is update your BIOS....

I'd actually recommend a blower style card for the bottom slot since your case only has 2x 120mm exhaust fans, and open air in the top slot. I'm actually surprised that Antec manages to cram more fans into a similarly sized case (albeit-one that doesn't look any where near as good).

Depends on the space between them. Top card will not get as much air, blower coolers can be run right up against each other and not cause a problem.

After looking at the mobo id go blower but if you swap the fans and don't mind running them as fast as the ones one card get open air.
