Which SSD would you prefer?

Would you prefer a 512 gb Samsung 960 Pro SSD, or a 1tb Samsung 960 Evo SSD?

 

Speeds (according to UserMark SSD):

 

960 PRO: 

2321 MB/s Read

1721 MB/s Write

 

960 EVO:

2345 MB/s Read

1345 MB/s Write

 

***NOTE: Please note that I am not going to buy these. I want to know which YOU would prefer to have. Both of these SSDs cost more than my entire system. Also, please note, this is purely off of YOUR NEEDS, it is not about the price.***

The 1tb 960 EVO for sure, twice as much room in exchange for ''slower'' write speed. I probably wouldn't even feel the difference.

Speaking from experience, I've found once you get past SATA 6Gbps speeds, most applications don't feel appreciably faster. There might be a use case or two that people actually use where the faster speeds would work, but I don't fall into that. So I would take the 960 Evo because it has twice as much space for the same price as a 960 Pro, and more things get to enjoy SSD speeds.

Performance wise neither makes a difference for real world use. It's basically a matter of storage and more storage is better than less storage tbh.
