Small update,

 

I received the IC's and the first arduino, still waiting for the LED's and some breadboards.

I have ordered enough for one of the 8 panels so I can test it out without spending all the money at once.

 

 

Im also working on a new sketchup that uses the actual thickness of the MDF (18mm and 8mm instead of 20 and 10mm)

This small change makes the grill look a lot better as its now taking up less space in-between the cubes (now 72mm instead of 90mm).

With the new one I also didn't forget to make each part a component to make it easier to know how much wood I need

I'm currently working on a very detailed sketchup drawing for the case so I can have it cut using a water cutting CNC machine.

I will probably create it out of trespa HPL.

interesting btw im getting malware flags from multiple sources from that sight and https is missing. Anyways i think ill mess with it. I play a lot of racing sims so i might make a tachometer that shows the revs and when to shift up, its better then me using my phone instead
