Posted March 15, 2017 I want all programs to be installed straight into my SSD. https://gyazo.com/95d0cdf8c3799cb8277f7b286eee0149 It's saying the Drive D (THE HDD) is primary. How do I change this? Posted March 15, 2017 Migrate/clone your HDD to your SSD, so all the programs get moved to the SSD. Go into your bios, and change the boot device order.
Posted March 15, 2017 That's just the main partition on that drive, meaning you can install an OS to it because it's partition table in is MBR format. To install games or programs to an SSD you need to set the install location. In steam you need to add a game library location and with software you'll need to change the install location in the wizard. My main computer: i7 6700k || GTX 1070 || Asus Z170 RGB || C.M. Posted March 15, 2017 Primary Partition means you can install an OS on it. If you notice on your C: drive, it says "Prima" before getting cut off. Most programs that install default to C:\. I have a blog! And a list of guides I've posted
