Does anyone know a safe 2 tb 7200 rpm hard drives on ebay under 50$ with free shipping.

I would suggest looking at NCIX or Neweggs eBay accounts. They have some Seagate and WD HDD on there that are ok.

Don't buy used drives.

Also, you can get 2TB drives new from a regular retailer like NCIX, amazon, or wherever else.

Much more reliable than ebay.

You can post eBay links, just not advertising your own stuff and not in hot deals. Community Standards doesn't mention it otherwise. If we're not allowed, the rules need to be re-written, so maybe a mod will see this and correct me if I'm wrong. 

 

And @OP I really wouldn't advise buying HDDs off eBay (unless from an eBay store for a trusted retailer).

I think if you can get them cheaply... I think it would make for a great university research paper on what can be recovered from used hard drives.

so.. from a person that has a €7 500GB hard drive from back when a 500GB hard drive new was around the €80 mark..

 

DONT EVER BUY SECOND HAND IF YOU INTEND TO RELY ON IT.

 

mine came from a somewhat reputable source, it had smart disabled, i dont know what they did to this thing, but it didnt even count online hours. you better believe i wiped the shit out of that thing xD
