Viewsonic:

Pros:

freesync

75hz instead of 60

built in speakers (that can also be a disadvantage because I can get a 2.1 speaker set and the hp will still be cheaper)

Bigger 24 inch instead of 21.5

Vesa mount

cons:

built in speakers are crappy (that is for almost every monitor with built in speakers tho, I don't really care bc I will be using headphones most of the time although if I go with the hp, I can get a 2.1 system and it will be less expensive overall then the viewsonic monitor)

tn panel

i have to buy a DisplayPort cable to use freesync because it isn't included

some reviews say the monitor supports hdcp, some don't. There are more that say the monitor supports hdcp than ones that say it dosent. I think ppl are unsung the monitor over vga that's why they're not getting hdcp. Nothing on viewsonics website says anything about it.

hp:

pros:

cheaper (I can get a 2.1 system

better looking

higher ppi

I already have a hdmi cable sitting around

ips

I know for a fact it supports hdcp my friend has one

cons:

no freesync

lower refresh rate

higher latency

smaller

For gaming, productivity, and video watching, which one do u think is a better choice?
