Trying to convert and move music

Ok so long way back had an Ipod now I am not sure where it is and I wanna use my phone more anyways. So some of the music is in AAC and won't run on my S4 phone. There any way to convert over to usable files?

Foobar works. But you need Lame Encoder for MP3 conversion.

Yeas, sorry, as @LoGiCalDrm says, you need encoders for certain filetypes, but they are very easy to get from the site... personally I don't mind whether it's aac or mp3 audio types, but depends on what you are playing it on, most newer mp3 players accept aac now I believe. I used to use this program for changing 5.1 audio to 2 channel as my TV at the time didn't like stuff like that. Very easy to use for just changing formats though, very quick too.

Generally, S6 supports WAV, APE, FLAC, MP3, M4A, AAC.... If your phone don't support AAC,  I think that you need to convert the AAC to MP3  that is compatible with most all players. The dts ac3 converter can convert formats wav, dts, ac3, aac, wma, m4a and so forth.

S4? You mean the Samsung Galaxy S4 or something else? If so have you tried an alternative music player like PowerAmp or Neutron? You should avoid converting your music if you can because you lose quality that you can NEVER get back each time you convert to a lossy format (MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, Opus).
