Asus Strix Z270E vs Asus Z270 IX Hero?

  1. Asus Strix Z270E $199.99
  2. Asus Z270 IX Hero $229.99

The Strix has WiFi and the Hero doesn't.

Hero has more USB and the Strix doesn't.

That's all the difference that I can see.

what else, what thing has the Hero that makes me want it?. Why people buy it, instead of the Strix?.

Well the appearently the Hero has built in Aurus to sync your RGB if you're into that :D

Maximus doesn't have DVI, in case you need it. Also Linus like the P2 old peripheral input, that they like for debugging and stuff..

Do you think you can utilize the extra 30$ to upgrade something else? It depends on you, if all you need is four then I would use the strix-E and the front case i/o but if you need more and you don't need the WIFI then get the IX hero.

I use WiFi. Hero doesn't have built in wifi and a pci wifi cost $40-$50 a good one.

For us peasants no for audiophile guys that use a ludicrous headphone that needs so many power yes but you would probably just buy a dac or amp thingy.
