Can anyone give me tips or ideas on how to increase fps on TF2? (not tf2 mate)

I play on windows 8.

And I don't know what XBOX DVR is.

It's a screen recorder made by Microsoft that works natively with Windows10 even though nowadays both AMD and nVidia already provide much superior tools which made this thing pointless since day one...

 

Any ways, like most intrusive programs made to spy you it works like crap and will often reduce the fps on games as it is very resources hungry and is recording all the time your gameplay. I always recommend disabling it through the registry but you're on Win8 so nothing to worry.

Got anymore tips I can use?

What I've already done:

-dxlevel 81

-high

mat_phong 0

lowered every single setting on the tf2 settings

The thing is if you're having that much difficulty to run a game like team fortress then your hardware must be extremely limited and there really is only so much you can do without an upgrade...
