So I got my h100i v2 today and installed it. My pc didn't boot up correctly (Switching on and off again) I took ram out of the 4th slot didn't work. took it out the 3rd didn't work. left sticks the other 2*4gb sticks in and it booted up fine. Thoght my ram was dead. I try swap the 'dead ram' in to check- Nope boots fine.

So I think it is my board. Is there a way to fix this or is it broken?

- be sure the h100iv2 pump is working (try to feel the little buzz effect)

- be sure it is really pressing had on the cpu

- be sure you have used thermic pasta ( with cheese and tomato sauce, please ) ...

Simple rules:

- If it works, dont update it.

- You don't know how, just do it, you will learn.

- Test, restest, test again, and maybe it will do it.

Have you tried with all the RAM again after reseating? Also make sure the cooler is firmly attached, but not too tight.

Well, if you run it without a cooler it will shut down in a matter of seconds anyway because of high CPU temps. No system can work without a cooler of some kind. Just try to reseat everything (cpu included) and give it another go.

Was it working properly before you swapped the cooler? Try unplugging it from the wall and hold the power button for 10-20 seconds. See if that gets it going. If not, then something's probably going on with the motherboard. I would remove all ram sticks, then try just one, at a different slot each time. Are there specific slots not working? Do they all work independently but fail when you insert more ram sticks?
