The 7700K is kinda pointless without a Z270 board to take advantage of overclocking it.  If you aren't looking to OC, switch the CPU to a 7700 (non-k) and then you also won't need aftermarket cooling.

Not looking to overclock. Also, what's the difference between 7700K and 7700? Unlocked?

If you do decide to switch to a Z270 board, I'm a big fan of the Cryorig H7 cooler over the 212 EVO.  That's all just a matter of preference though.

Is this motherboard better?

Get a better psu, the NEX isn't very good. The B2, GQ and bitfenix fury would be better choices.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

not much of an excuse when an air cooler less than half the price of a corsair h60 can beat it.
