First Time Builder Goes Custom Loop

First time ever, building a pc. Wants to build a custom loop, know how and everything. Just scared of leaking, what should i be careful of. And what are the chances of leaking.

If it's your first time building, I don't recommend going that route. It's WAY more complex then just building a PC and shouldn't really be done unless you have built multiple PCs.

I know how to build a pc, i build my friend's pc, i just want to know what are the chances, and what should i be careful of, thanks

but, if you want to do this, you will literally need hundreds of dollars of tubes because you'll most likely fuck up all of your bends

The chances are fairly low as long as you take the proper precautions and leak test. Once you assemble the loop you want to just power the pump and place absorbent paper towels out just in case and do a leak test for at least half a day to ensure nothing is going to happen. After I personally do a burn in test to ensure that nothing leaks with heat and expansion, after that your likelyhood is fairly low.

I'm not a complete expert but I know some things. For example, make sure to flush your radiator first, make sure fitting width is the exact same as the tube's outer diameter, etc. However, considering it sounds like you don't know much about custom water cooling, I really don't recommend you doing it.

pvc tube is the hardline tube most people use.

If you are careful, you shouldnt get a leak

leaks are like 99.9 percent human error

also get a power supply bridge and test the loop for leaks by just running the loop WITHOUT the rest of the system on (very important )

20 ft of tubing costs liek 20-30 dollars

nobody needs 20 ft of tubing

even if you practice bending alot

although you can spend hundreds of dollars on angled fittings and not do any bends

20 ft of tubing costs liek 20-30 dollars

nobody needs 20 ft of tubing

even if you practice bending alot

although you can spend hundreds of dollars on angled fittings and not do any bends

lol look at salazar studio's build - he was a pretty experienced builder and he still used more than 60ft of tubing - and tubing from like ek or alphacool is pretty expensive along with the fittings

i did my first WC build 2 months ago. 

always buy double the tubing you need if your going hard tubing.
