Adam ruins everything legitimacy?

Joelbanks5

So I've been watching Adam ruins everything recently, and I was wondering if it is all true or correct. They provide links to their sources or at least cite them, though I am unsure if they are trustworthy sources. I know everything on the internet isn't true which is why I'm asking (I'm fairly certain it's also a TV show, which also isn't always true lol). Maybe they're just cherry picking stuff? Idk but if it is true and reliable then that's neat, if not then oh well it's still entertaining.

IDK, but my younger brother hates him calling him a "commie". I still enjoy watching though, although there are some moments I felt were cringey.

When's the next season anyway? Havn't seen a new one in a while. I loved seeing Adam Savage in the Christmas episode.

They do their research. So yeh. They don't just make stuff up, although the do of course occasionally make a mistake.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

Haven't looked into it that show, but please bear in mind that it is possible to speak only truth and facts, and still be misleading.

It's the same as with benchmarks. By cherry picking you can make any component be as good as any other one.

Telling the whole story is extremely important, but it's hard to know what the whole story is if you're not heavily invested in the subject.

Kind of legit. Most of the time they're correct, but there's some bias across all of college humor. I give it a 'IlikeTheShowEvenIfIDisagreeWithTheirPolitics/10

Exactly why I asked about cherry picking, thanks. I will continue watching the show while still being skeptical, though.

It's like LTT. Facts are mostly true. But take it for entertainment. Don't treat it as something you would cite in a paper or something.

Right, mostly for entertainment, and possibly bringing up in conversation for something to talk about.

I have no doubts that they've come across a source or two that goes against their thesis, but have proceeded to use sources that back it up.

Happens all the time, especially when you want to make your point across on TV, where the goal is mainly to entertain.

That video has as many likes as it does dislikes. Clearly a polarizing topic.

(Personally, I don't want the wall unless it's some sort of public works project.)
