Kingston ssd 120gb slow write speed

About a year ago i bought this ssd and right when i got I tested the speed on this thing. The read and write were both well over 450 Mb/s. Today i tested it with crystaldiskmark and the write speed was about 105mb/s, even my old hdd 7200rpm can beat that with ease. 

Is it some kind of program constantly using it or is it going to fail soon?

You just got scammed by Kingston, next time buy a SanDisk or Crucial.

If the drive ran at good speeds when he got it, it doesn't use asynchronous NAND.  Besides, I'm pretty sure they stopped selling those models a long time ago anyway.

 

@riivo50 Like @Gronnie asked, is it almost full?  Also, is TRIM enabled, and is the firmware up to date?

yea it ran well back then and no it is not full 67 gb out of 110
