ITX pentium build

so i've seen linus' video about the itx build with a xeon and a 1080 and i thought to myself why can't i do that? but not with a xeon. so i'm thinking about building this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6M8k7h thoughts? comments? concerns? please reply to this topic if you have questions about anything :) i call it: the LAN party because its small form factor would make it perfect for something like a lan party even though no one does LAN parties anymore :(

Drop a cooler

Get single stick of 8GB for future upgrades

Get B250 mobo instead as they do not have BIOS update to support Kaby Lake most likely

No need for a cooler with a Pentium. Put that $30 towards an RX 470 (or 480, with prices tanking like they are). If you don't have a Skylake CPU lying around, check and make sure that the board you're looking at can update BIOS without a CPU.

...or just get an H270 board and DDR4 RAM. That seems easier.

Otherwise, yeah, looks good to me. I can't imagine you needing a bigger PSU for a 470 or 480, given how little juice the Pentium drinks. There are much better values out there, though.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

The only way I know of to get a non-3258 Pentium to unsafe temperatures is to set it on fire.

Coincidentally, "set it on fire" is widely regarded as one of the best ways to cool an FX 9590.
