Ultimate Nexus 6P Case

CostcoSamples

Guys, I've broken the LCD on my Nexus 6P TWICE!  at $200 per repair, I can't keep doing this.  I need an Otterbox or LifeProof style case, but these brands don't make one for the 6P.  I have not been able to find anything comparable.  Does anybody know of any similar 6P cases?

I was thinking I'd just buy a new phone but money is tight right now.  I could renew my contract and upgrade to a Pixel but it would cost me $400.  I could upgrade to a Galaxy S7 for $200.  I really like the stock Android and free cloud storage on the Google phones.

I'm open to suggestions!

Sounds like you just need to be more careful with your phone :P

What case are you using now?

If you wait a month or so upgrading to the S7 should be free. It is, after all, almost time for its replacement.

I do need to be more careful!  I had a pretty good case on it already, plus a screen protector!

The upgrade prices I listed include a $200 fee to pay off my Nexus 6P.  On a new contract the S7 is free and Pixel is $200.  I really can't afford it but I'll probably just get a Pixel.

Maybe you should just buy a Pelican case to carry it, seems like no case will save you!

The Pixel isn't bad. I'd wait for the S8 personally...though with your track record curved displays are something you should stay away from.

You'd probably have a better chance of a company coming out with a case for it though.

Tough call.

i have the Spigen rugged armor for my 6P and protects it fairly well. it's pretty thick and bulky though, so i now use the Spigen ultra hybrid clear.

That was my first case.  I dropped the phone on my wood floor in the kitchen and the LCD died.  I also had a tempered glass screen protector on (which was still in flawless condition, even though the underlying screen was wrecked).

My second case was this  Speck case, which was at least twice as thick as the Spigen case.  I dropped my phone again and same thing happened - LCD is wrecked, tempered glass screen protector unscathed!

Either I have really bad luck, or these 6P LCDs are just really flimsy.

well the 6P is pretty fragile, seeing how thin it is. but i have dropped my 6p a few times in the rugged armor and ultra hybrid, and no damage whatsoever.
