Have you considered buying a used 1070 and having more money for the other stuff?

The last few times I bought used I've been screwed  in some way. Plus idt he would like the idea that I'm using his money to get used parts. *edit* It looks like the price diff isn't much less going used for it.

Maybe you're just not very experienced with buying used?

If you buy from the right people, do tests before buying, etc. then there isn't much that can go wrong.

Maybe, those few times mentioned were when I did my first build but left me wary. It might be our locations but the used 1070s I'm seeing online or near me are close to new price. I know I can try and negotiate but idt I can drop it that low.

You people made me move from a ref 480 to a 1070...I decided to keep my build and pay the $150 difference for the 1070.

Wait a month or so before buying. 1080s are dropping to $499 so 1070s will HAVE to drop to stay a relevant option. Some 1070s are almost $500 as it is!

I know with the 1080ti and stuff but the price drop for the 1070 probably won't be more than $50 anytime soon.  Plus this is somewhat time sensitive.

Also all the parts -besides the GPU- are arriving by Monday lol
