Can loose ram / wires cause burning smell?

That would explain why your PC wouldn't turn on, that's the front panel connector, that's where the power button connects ;)

my pc didnt turn it because it was in deep sleep

I would still check all the other connection to make sure everything is plugged in correctly, I know you said you did but better be safe than sorry.

 

New PC shouldn't smell like burned unless there's a problem.

 

Make sure to check the wires AND the components.

What about a sticker on ram sticks? Some have those plastic stickers similar to what chipset heatsinks or i/o shields have that can smell if they heat up, and you might not notice them.. I guess you would have noticed the smell earlier if that was the case.

im not gonna try that evrything works fine i wanna keep it that way. ive tried many things for hours i really dont want to list them all unless you experience the same issue
