Gaming build, final decision!

Evellence

So i posted this many times (its my 1st build), and i changed bunch of parts because i want to buy most of it from 1 store or in this case guy (He is known seller so i don't need to worry about it). This build is the last one.

Because he doesn't have site i will just post text without links.

GPU
Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB GDDR5

447eur

SSD
Samsung SSD 250GB 850 EVO SATA3 2,5"

95eur

HDD
Toshiba 2TB HDD 7200 64MB SATA3

65eur

Motherboard
MSI Z270 Gaming Pro

180eur

CPU
INTEL Intel Core i5-7600K 3.80GHz 1151 BOX

246eur

Memory
G.SKILL 16GB Ripjaws V DDR4 2400MHz CL15

127eur

CPU cooler
SCYTHE Mugen 5

51eur

PSU
THERMALTAKE Smart SE 630W

68eur

Case

Recommend me a good one (30-80eur)

Total - 1279 eur

(Because i am getting most of the parts from him he is willing to lower me the price)

If something is bad, tell me what and i will respond with a list of available parts.

Also because this is my first build did i miss something really obvious? Memory, CPU and CPU cooler are compatible i did check that, is there something else that i should check?

I am sending my order tomorrow (2.March), so i wanted to do a final check. Wish me luck!

Don't get that PSU

Toshiba is not realiable imo, get a Seagate Barracuda

You can spend less on SSD, Samsung EVO is nice but might cost too much

like @deXxterlab97 said "don't get Toshiba" he is right, get a Seagate or western digital hard drive and for the case, if you like something that looks good then i will give you some to chose from.

EVGA Supernova 650W or higher would be a much better PSU.

For SSD, Samsung 850 EVO is the best, but Crucial MX300 SSD's are good as well.

EVGA makes better 1070 cards, and have amazing customer service, so I recommend them.

For a case, I'd recommend NZXT S340 Elite or Phanteks P400S.

Midnight Rig - CPU: i7-7700K / Cooler: Corsair h100i V2 / Motherboard: AsRock Z270 Taichi / RAM: G.Skill TridentZ 3200Mhz / GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 FTW2 / SSD: Crucial MX300 525GB / HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB 7200rpm / PSU: EVGA Supernova B2 750W

stays cooler

looks better

is more quiet

apparently used less wattage not sure iof thats true tho

zotac has a better warranty system

for psu get the evga

and western digital (WD) red )made for 24/7 usage)

Oh and in addition to post above by me he also sells EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W PSU, which is more expensive 132€, so thats kinda why i didnt mention it. But if it will be really worth it then i will listen

He does not have 650W one, just 550W and 750W

I mentioned more GPUs up, and i will see for the case, Serbia doesn't have much to offer lol

nothing wrong with the gigabyte, but  think the zotac is worth buying more than the other ones. generally @thegoogler in my experience asus cards break fast, are loud, cool bad and show significant power loss over a few months of using.

in my experience, my 2 1070 wind force works well, FYI if you are doing SLI DDU and reinstall drivers.

Asus are loud? Strix is one of the best GPU out there, though I wouldn't pay for it tbh. Only zotac Extreme worth it and still doesn't compete with the level of cooling Strix has

dont know what you have heard. my 1070 amp extreme even at a boost of 2020-2100 stays under 65 degrees, with the fans spinning at lowest rpm. if it werent for my cpu cooler, my pc would literally be silent.

@Radiant @deXxterlab97 @thegoogler @MidnightBanshi

So all in all,

For PSU

Most of you said that THERMALTAKE Smart SE 630W (68€) is bad and i should replace it with, options are

-EVGA Power Supply 600W                                   56€

-CORSAIR VS Series VS650                                  64€

-CORSAIR CX Series Modular CX600M (Moduar) 74€

EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W PSU                        132    (Which is more expensive but if its really worth it then fine, if not going for CX600M)

For the HDD

Toshiba 2TB HDD 7200 64MB SATA3 is bad and i should replace it with

Seagate Desktop 2TB HDD 7200 64MB SATA3 73€  This one

Hitachi Ultrastar 7K3000 2TB 7200 64MB          60€

WD Blue 2TB HDD 5400 64 MB SATA3             72€

SSD is expensive but good, so i will keep it

For GPU

Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming 8GB GDDR5  (447€) is not bad but there are better ones, other options are

Zotac GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 AMP Extreme                              475,00€       Just checked he also have this one, and most of you recommend it. So this one?

Asus Strix GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 Gaming                                490,00 €      Or this one?

Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 Windforce OC                        422,00 €

EVGA GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 SuperClocked Gaming ACX 3    445,00 €

CPU cooler and everything else seems to be fine.

Also i didn't really expect this much replies is this short time, so i have to thank you guys for the help!

Nothing wrong with the Gigabyte G1. If the Zotac is cheaper then sure.

Not all EVGA/BeQuiet power supplies are good.

Better SSD ? Samsung 850 EVO is just fine. Why would he need to change it ?
