hi,

I have always had problems with my computer crashing while editing video on ANY software. I have built the computer myself and am not sure if the problem is me, the hardware or the computers software.

There is an error telling me that the program has stopped working and I will be notified when the problem is fixed nothing else like what error? This is very annoying as it occurs when I have been working for at least one hour and all my work is gone. I have tried reinstalling quicktime.

@Enderman will that clear everything on my c drive? is it a big job?

You move files you want to keep to another drive, you wipe your OS drive, and you clean install windows. The n you move the files back.
