If you don't mind lower settings for higher FPS and also if you do not own the 'best CPU bla bla bla' you could simply go with an RX460 which is a nice budget graphics card which is worth 150$(prices vary) or you could go with a 1050ti which is also a nice GPU, with the price a bit higher than the 460 but it also gives a little boost.

Could you tell me the specs and the budget you planned for this GPU?

@Severingcastle8 Yes it would be a good choice. If the price is kinda low and you do have the money necessary for it at that moment, just go for it. After the latest update that came from AMD, RX460-470 and 480 runs way better than they were running a few months ago. 460 might even equal GTX1050Ti in some games.

So, go for it! It won't bottleneck your CPU since it is a hexacore. You have enough ram for it and it might run at high frequency. Oh.. you could go buy a SSD in the future since WD Blue is kinda slow.

RX 470 is probably the best Price - Performance GPU right now. Out performing the GTX 1050Ti, maybe even being only slightly behind a 3GB 1060.

One such like this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131699

Though if you buy this I do not suggest pushing an OC very far as the VRMs on this particular card tend to get hot.

1050, 1050 Ti, 1050 OC or 1050 DIstrect. 1050's are always a safe bet

I do own a 1050 Ti OC windforce and it is running great. On heaven's benchmark test I go Ultra with extreme tesselation at @35-40 fps which is kinda cool for my PC. And for the way a 1050 performs.

Hey that's Great. It's good to know that your Grapics card is running smoothly. For a 1050 to run high settings on min 35 fps, just makes me jellyxD

Believe me, I used to play with a GT430 on a 17" monitor for 2 to 3 years and now with that 1050 on a 27", whoa.. it's like seeing world from different eyes. (PS: ex-gpu was going 30 FPS at normal with everything off)

Well i must say i haven't had that much success than you. I guess haven't played that many graphical intensive software/games than the average person but i could just imagine the upgrade a GT430 to a GTX 1050, now that's a game changer

you won't go wrong with a 1050ti, but if you can budget for a 1060 it would be better for more demanding games. If you plan to play more high end games I would suggest getting a 980ti because they are pretty cheap now or a 1070 which is about the same thing.

Amen to that. It is really a game changer. The GT430 was still potent with some apps/games like 3D Studio max, Autocad, Photoshop, GTA V but 'her' time is up. I really needed an upgrade.

@Pachuca He is right. If you have enough money to buy something better than the 1050, go with a 1060-70, RX480, even that 980ti, then go for it! In my situation budget was really tight and I had two choices. Either go with the 1050 or wait an unknown amount of time and get something better. I went kamikaze and bought the 1050.

Are you using the graphics card for study in university/school or do you game on it?

@Samson_ST, @R3ep3r, and @deXxterlab97 thanks for the help

Look at the RX 470 I linked. It out performs the 1050Ti and 1050 and being $140 after a MIB, you can't pass it up.

But in resent review the 1050 does out perform the RX 470. I guess it just depends on your preference

What... dear god no. No. What lying sack of shit did you watch/read?

The 470 when OC'd is near a stock 4GB 480.

Don't go higher than an RX470 for an FX6300.

Also funny I should mention that, assuming you buy an RX470 for 160-170$ USD it is the best Price/Performance GPU out there so far

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup

PLEASE QUOTE OR @ ME FOR A RESPONSE xD
