Remote desktop solution without internet

I need a remote desktop app that works without an internet connection.

 

Requirements:

No internet connection required

Good performance on Wifi

Free

iOS app at the least, Android one would also be nice.

Easy to use, Something that i don't have to find the ip every time i want to connect would be nice.

Light on computing power at least on the server side.

for a ipad sorry nope, as you may know, apple ecosystem is very locked down. wait and see if anyone else have anything to say.

You are not getting it, I dont want the ipad to be remoted into, i want the ipad to remote into something else.

I've tried a few of the iOS Apps for accessing WIndows Remote desktop. 

Most of them are pretty crap, and the iOS user interface does NOT lend itself to driving windows well.

the best of them remains the Citrix client, but that doesnt meet your need unless you are willing to install the infrastructure on site (free for 5 users i think).
