Help me choose a new laptop

nizmoz44

Thinking 14-15" laptop, that will replace my desktop. I will want to hook up my 34" ultrawide dell to it, and I plan to use my EVGA 1080 GTX FTW card in an external unit with it.  I had an SP4, but sold it as I wasn't impressed with the battery life of 3-4 hours.

Budget around $1500 possibly more if I sell stuff off my old PC.

My keys are this below.

1. Portability. Needs to be light and thin. (Bad back)
2. Long battery life. Near 10 hours if possible.
3. Great quality screen on the laptop itself. 4k would be great.
4. SSD's and 16gb of memory.
5. Docking station of some type.

My desktop is 4 years old now, and it's time to convert. I don't play as much as I use too, and don't really need something this big. Plus it makes this room a furnace after it's on a while. My current setup is below for those wondering.

I like the XPS, but it doesn't support thunderbolt 3, only 2.  (if I have that correct), so the external unit won't work well.

Hp Spectre x360 2017 edition looks appealing, but limited on dual core.

Thought about it, but looks less "professional" looking.  I will be taking this laptop into my job as well.
