I have decided its time to build a pc ( this will be the first time i completely built my own pc ) I plan on using this pc for vr ( HTC Vive )

i have a few questions:

firstly what mother board would you guys recommend, ideally i dont want to spend more than £110 ish

secondly would the Intel Core i5-7500 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor be better than the cpu ive picked

thirdly is there any thing that ive missed that there would be a problem

the difference between the 7500 and the 7600k is that you could oc one but not the other. Personally i would get the 7500, a cheap motherboard, 8gbs of ram and the spend the saved money on an rx 480 and an ssd

sorry to sound stupid not really that knowledgeable on all this but what would the benefits of that be since you cant overclock and its a lower clock speed ?

wont really make that big of a difference.

i think i have finalised on a i5 instead of the i7 and the rx480. i think the motherboard is just what im unsure about now since its pretty barebones with not much stuff on. do you have any suggestions ?

Supposedly the 1060 is better than the 480 but its not all black and white, the 480 has caught up with AMD's superior Driver updates

Any how if you're going to overclock, which i hear the KabyLake do very well and easily, you should choose the appropriate mobo according to the Chipset, i.e. z170 o z 270: http://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#c=110,119&sort=a8&page=1

Personal Rig:

the i7 is for future proofing, you don't need a future packed mobo other than that its good.
