Okay Guys im in some serious need of help..

Here are my system specs:

Asus Crosshair V formula Z

Fx 8350

8Gb Corsair vengeance DDR3

Asus Strix RX 480

XFX PRO 750W 80 plus bronze

Just upgraded my old GTX 660 out for a nice new, shiny RX 480! Only to find that it crashes every EVERY single time the card is under load. Here's a list of what I've tried so far:

- Up the power limit

- Underclock the card

- Start from the earliest drivers and then update

- Uninstall and re-install latest driver (21.19.519.2)
- Change the PCI power cable

- Power Cycle PC, then try a benchmark (Heaven DX11)

It crashes in GTA V, Heaven benchmark, Black Desert Online, Ghost Reacon Wildlands Beta and everything else Ive thrown at it.

Works fine at Idle though...

From what Ive seen, a couple of people have suggested to others, getting better PSU's... Is this really the solution for me though? Ive not seen any bad reviews for the XFX PRO 750W??

If anyone has any other ideas please let me know :) Really want to get to gaming ASAP!

Chris

Are u sure its not a virus?

Try to swap to ur old 660 and try again

Ill swap back to the 660 now.

Ive run malwarebytes and EndPoint security and my system appears clean

Your PSU shouldn't be the problem, since you've messed about with more or less all the drivers and whatnot, it's possible that you just have a faulty GPU...

Try reseating the GPU in different PCIe slots.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
