Wireless/Blu-tooth Earbud Help

Hello,

Figure'd I'd ask people here, before I just search Amazon and find a random pair to statisfy my needs...

I'm looking for a wireless headset that connects via 3.5mm audio jack to a PC.

Not looking for anything high end, just something, I can use to listen to music while at work.

Currently I have a basic Samsung wired earbud pair, but I'm finding that the cable get's in the way of my keyboard.

So does anyone have any brand recommendations, or know if such a product even exists.

Blu-tooth, may work, but idk if my work PC has blu-tooth on it...

Budget will be around $30 - $40 CAD.

Why would you be looking for Bluetooth based options if you're just going to be connecting them via 3.5mm?

More thought that there was such a device that had a 3.5mm transmitter and a receiver in the earbuds themselves, but I didn't realize that practically all wireless headsets are connected wirelessly via bluetooth.

Agreed.  if you want bluetooth and your system doesn't have bluetooth, the dongles are pretty cheap.  get the dongle, and get a headset.

Just get something like a 3.5mm extension cable.

What blue-tooth dongle would you be refering to? Something that plugs in via usb and had a bluetooth connection on it?

Would run into the same issue now, where the cable runs over my keyboard, unless you mean extend, the cable, and run it around/under my keyboard?

They're USB dongles that have a Bluetooth chip inside them.

Ahh okay, didn't think of that, thanks, that may actually work then.

Does it matter how heavy the keyboard is that's ontop of the cable?

Using a Blackwidow Chroma, and it's quite hefty for a cable.

Correct. Something like the ASUS USB-BT400 would be fine.  there are others that work just as good and probably cheaper.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'll look into both options, either 1 should be good.
