Banner Saga 1, 2 free for Twitch Prime members (and maybe free trial members?)

I received an email from Stoic's mailing list today that informs people that The Banner Saga 1 is free this week for Twitch Prime members, and that The Banner Saga 2 will also be free for members in two weeks.

 

All Amazon Prime members automatically have Twitch Prime. I don't even know if Twitch Prime can be had separately from Amazon Prime. I don't have either, though I'd like to know whether signing up for the free trial nets the free games, also. I kickstartered the first, and really enjoyed it, but don't yet have the second game. If someone is able to confirm if that's the case, it might help others out, as well as myself.

 

A third Banner Saga game has been recently kickstarted, and I think the free games through Prime might be a related promotion.

Do you get it through twitch or get like a steam code or something?

I haven't got it, yet. My assumption is that they give a Steam key. I'd like to know if the free trial account gets the games, as well.

I signed up for the free trial of Amazon Prime, and got Twitch Prime and Banner Saga 2 through Twitch. So, it isn't a Steam key.
