Upgrades, for future reference

TR10
Go to solution Solved by WereCat,

Does your monitor has more than 60Hz?

What resolution are you playing on?

I wouldn't go with SLI and 1080 from 1070 is not that big of an upgrade. I would maybe recommend you to wait for the 1080ti that is supposedly soon to be released although that is a rumor.

Right, so as of now I'm thinking of upgrade paths

(Specs)

Spoiler

CPU | i5-6600K

GPU | GTX 1070 (Founders (I jumped the gun))

RAM | G.Skill 16GB RipjawsV 16GB (2x8)

MB   | Asus Sabertooth Z170 MK.1

PSU | Seasonic M12II 620W Bronze something something

And I'm thinking whether I should go for a GTX 1080 or GTX 1070 SLI

Thanks!

(edit: forgot I literally put all my specs in the signature, good job)

Sorry, not enough detail

Currently my native resolution is 1080p at 144hz, I can run 2160p but of course at lower fps

Also the 1080Ti should be better now that i think of it, I looked around and Nvidia is hinting at it
