Gaming headaches

Matsy

Do any of you suffer from "gaming headaches"?

Just went through all of the new tomb raider all at once and my head is sore :(

This happens any time I play a game for a extended period of time, I dunno what it is, my eyes don't hurt or pull but my head is "tight" and uncomfortable afterwards....

Anyone have anything similar?

It only happened to me when I played Quake at school. I only played for about 10 minutes but I was still dizzy and in pain.

you need to get some Gunnar's: http://www.gunnars.com/ when you game for too long your eyes dry up cause you forget to blink, these dont stop the problem but they reduce the effects

Also does the same thing.

I've tried it, but it didn't do anything for me along with making colors HORRIBLE.

There are multiple causes. Eye strain, dehydration, even if you dont sit properly.

Motion sickness. Play with a higher FOV

My FoV is at 90 (when I can change it)

Doesn't stop headaches (after long periods of gaming), higher FoV looks stupidly fisheyed.

Do you have your neck turned excessively while gaming?

Nope looking straight ahead.

Could it be that I'm playing on my TV (42inch) about 180cm away which is a comfortable distance for me.

No other light source in the room, since I black out any light coming in (I don't like light....I like the dark)

You might need glasses. Bad vision could be straining your eyes just enough to cause headaches.
