I'm planning on making an all-new gaming setup, which includes replacing my current keyboard. My current one is a Logitech G510, but it broke a while ago. So, does anyone have any suggestions as for a good gaming keyboard? I've heard good things about the Blackwidow chroma...

Razer is very... mediocre in the mech keyboard department. I personally type on a Masterkeys Pro S and I enjoy it. WASD and Ducky are also fairly good

At $40 it is pretty good :) I only bought it to match my redragon mouse that I gave away. You could probably get a numpad at the same price range.

CM actually makes some very good keyboards, prefer my Masterkeys over the K70 I tried out. WASD and Ducky are also very well known in the mech market, CM gets a decent bit of praise but the Masterkeys lineup is pretty well priced, especially compared to their RGB competitors

Its very subjective, I'm using a K65 purely because I never NEVER use the numpad and it gives me more mouse space on my desk as my tower is up there also. I would whole heartedly recommend an Asus Claymore also

Hmm, alright. I'm mostly leaning towards that shiny K95, though... you can never go wrong with Corsair...`

I guess you're right. I never use my numpad either, so I might need a keyboard without one..

Talking to someone who has a vendetta against Corsair... I've never understood why they get such praise, plus why a K95? Master Keys Pro L is $70 cheaper also and Master Keys Pro S is sometimes a bit cheaper.

Also... the whole I don't like them, 95% of their products I don't see the appeal in them.

Stay away from Razer until they fix their shit. Poor quality control and just poor quality products all around, imo.

I'm using a Corsair K65 RGB personally, but Logitech's G-switches on the new keyboards feel more responsive than Cherry's switches in my opinion. If you have a Best Buy near you I suggest you try them out.

If not, I can personally recommend Corsair's keyboards.

Corsair mostly gets their rep from their PC parts, which have always been very good quality. I have only used one of their peripherals, and it was pretty good also. I'm gonna be inclined to think that if they make them as well as their PC components, they'll be pretty well worth the money

I figured. Razer has a pretty bad rep...

the only Best Buy near me is about 2 hours away, so i'm good. But those Corsair keyboards sound pretty enticing...
