1050 ti vs 470

I have a budget system with a g3258 in a mini itx build that will run through my tv and do some light gaming. I still need a gpu though. Micro center currently has a 1050 ti for $115 and a rx 470 for $150. I know that the rx 470 is better but is it really worth the extra $35 since I will be pairing it with a g3258?

Not really. It is quite a bit faster, but the G3258 will be holding you back because of AMD's Driver Overhead:

It's still not a reason to take a 1050 ti over a 470. Your taking about AMD's overhead and looking something that is a year old.

Just looked at benchmarks. The 470 performs around 40-45% better and costs just 30% more...
