If you can get a good 500-550W PSU cheaper, go for it.  You're going to use approximately 367W at full load.  You want some buffer, but getting twice what you need is overkill.

@Abyssal Radon is right, you should try and find a GSync monitor to make the most use out of your card. It'll likely be a little more money, but you'll get a better experience and at that build price it won't be that hard to swallow. Other than that the build looks good.

What are you gonna use the computer for? (I assume gaming, but what kind of games?) I currently use that cooler, and I'm thinking of switching to an air cooler as mine is starting to make weird noises from time to time (had it since January 2014), don't know if it's just air, or if the pump is dying.

Assuming he doesn't need to use more voltage. It shoots up drastically when you do. And really, anyone buying an unlocked chip will want to push the max. You also didn't factor in the video card overclock. Which again, adds quite a bit. Granted 550w would likely be enough, but 500w would be putting it awfully close to a full load. PSUs are most efficient around 50% load, so that's also something to consider.

That's quite an exaggeration.  It barely goes up even if you pump 1.4V into it (and OC it to 4.4GHz), which is a dangerously high voltage anyway.  A good PSU is going to work efficiently at 80% load.

 

I don't know much about video card OC'ing though, so I'll just take your word for it.

It goes up another 30 watts at 1.4v. Not sure what calculator you're using.

Also, it's 50%. Not 80%. Here's the G2 as an example.

30W isn't 250W+, which is my point.  You'd get by just fine with a 500W PSU.

I said efficiently, not most efficiently.  Besides, that's only when everything is going 100% from a stress test or something.  Most of the time it will be using far less than 50%, which is why (in my opinion) it's better to shoot for around 80% at full load.
