If anyone else said 'check' after reading the title, high five!

Anyways waiting is killing me, has anyone received a yes or no on the steam machine beta???

 

Well people are saying the Xi3 piston is a "STEAM Machine" Just not fully licensed yet.

Not interested in getting a steam box, I would rather build a new PC with an Nvidia GPU and use Shield.

Didn't apply for the beta.

More interested in my own steam machine. I will download the steamOS and dual boot.

 

its not steamos its ubuntu

i want to get one just to rip the titan out and put it in my pc

Not fussed about buying a prebuilt steam machine but SteamOS excites me in all the wrong ways :P

 

I really dont understand why people aren't excited about this. It will benefit everyone gaming on pc. Whether its steam OS, Ubuntu (other Linux distros) or even windows.

More excited about the OS, then the box, I still don't understand how any game will work with it though.  Because it is Linux based....

steam machine meh, all i want is to check out steam os and see if its worth building a streaming pc
