What's your budget and location? So far everything seems ok. What RAM are you planning to use as well as you could think about getting a AIO cooler. PSU is a bit too high for your specs but not much harm in it I think.

Better cooler, Cryorig H5 is nice

Less power PSU would work fine, I have a 4790k and a 1080 and I dont even hit 350w under gaming loads. 600w is more than enough unless youre going for SLI later.

You could save a boatload of  money and get a cheaper 1TB SSD, All SSD's are fast and there wont be enough of a difference to justify spending more than $200 more for that Samsung drive over something like the Crucial MX300 or the X400 from Sandisk.

My budget is about 3000-3500 AUD, I am in Sydney Australia. the RAM G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory. And as I said because this is my first build and I won't do much overclocking I prefer air cooling.

Okay after editing some stuff this is what I have now:

CPU:  Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler:   be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 67.8 CFM Fluid Dynamic Bearing CPU Cooler

Ram:   G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

Motherboard:  Asus MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

SSD:   Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

HDD:   Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

GPU:  EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB FTW Gaming ACX 3.0 Video Card

Case:  be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 w/Window (Black) ATX Full Tower Case

Power Supply:   EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Monitor:  AOC U2879VF 28.0" 3840x2160 60Hz Monitor

Is there a cheaper alternative but a good quality motherboard other than the maximus IX? and Also what do you recommend as a cool but good full tower case?

Thanks again :)
