I need a good wifi adapter to put in my pc any idea what?

What price range? I have an archer t9E. It's extremely stable while gaming and picks up a signal very well. 

Unsure what power supply to pick?

It's an extension from your pcie card to the antennae. If you have your pc jammed against the wall covering the antennae then if you have this extension you can put the antennae stand on your desk for better reception.
