Battlefield 4 - Jet Controls

Hey guys. So I just can't seem to get good at flying a jet in Battlefield 4 because when I use WASD+Mouse, I can't steer properly without having to pick up the mouse and keep moving it, and if I use the WASD+Arrow key method I can steer fine but then I can't aim with precision. I'm a bawss with the helicopters, but having trouble flying jets. So, what do you guys use? And what are some tips you can give? Thanks!

Bind pitch up on space key.

Flip the jet over and pitch up

I guess you use the mouse.

Personally I switch between the arrow keys and the mouse, depending on what I'm trying to do. The mouse is much more precise for doing air to ground stuff. While being in a dog fight, you might not be able to keep up if you're using a mouse.

I think I'm gonna try an Xbox 360 controller or a Logitech joystick next. Space bar trick didn't really do it for meh.

I've been using WASD + Arrow Keys to fly jets in BF3 and it's taken me some time to get used to it in BF4... but it can be done.

From flying ARMA2 helis and jets to BF4 helis and jets. I cant do it at all. I can drop you in the weirdest spots and extract off the sides of things no problem in ARMA.... BF just has stupid aircraft controls.

Is there anything bound to space key in a jet already? Just out of curiosity..

Space has usually been key for main gun in jets. I fly with mouse+kb and its working. Thing is to adjust your vehicle sensitivy right and maybe have dpi/sense hotkey bind to some mouse button if you need different sensitivy in different vehicles.
