So I have been on a long tear between 3 different GPU companies, and I have no idea which GTX 1060 to get.

Brands I am considering are:

EVGA

Gigabyte

MSI

Meanwhile, as I am writing this post, EVGA's SSC variant is on sale on Newegg. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487275

As for Gigabyte, I might consider this one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814125901

And MSI, maybe this one? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814137018

If you'd like to suggest any brands, feel free to show some listings. It will have to be under 300 dollars, even though my budget is 307 dollars. (I am trying to save a little bit of extra cash for an SSD.)

(EDIT:) Do NOT suggest me the RX 480. I only want to know which 1060 6GB variant I want. I have my choices on the 1060. So before you try to switch me to AMD, it isn't going to work.

If you aren't married to Nvidia get the AMD 480 8gb for the same money, its as good now, better in vulkan/dx 12 and will get better with more driver releases

I am "married" to Nvidia.

If you couldn't tell, I prefer them.

I just am not a huge fan of AMD that much. I don't think there is a whole ton of quality in their products. But that's just my standpoint on them.

Get whichever is cheapest. You can overclock it manually if you want. You're right to get a dual fan one though. The 1060 gets hot.

The one thing to watch out for is the length. I know the EVGA model is longer than some. Use PC Part Picker to see how long of a video card your case supports.

Make sure to quote or tag me (@JoostinOnline) or I won't see your response!

I actually have a prebuilt PC, and I looked inside recently and it can perfectly fit a 2 fan model. But yes, EVGA can be a bit big with their two fans.

(Yes, I have a prebuilt. Its an Acer ATC-710 computer with a i7, 16GB DDR3, and 2TB storage.)

each to their own I guess, I can never understand that position, I would want the best product for my money but everyone is different :)

Id just look at reviews of the 3 cards and get which ever is fastest in the titles you play
