I played the closed beta and will play the open beta because the game is surprisingly quite fun.

Combat system is a mix between Soul Calibur and M&B : Warband which is much more complex than I thought for such a game.

However, the current content is a bit short for 60$ and the fact that they provide a HUD with indications on enemies' attacks is quite lame. I'd love a combat system with no indication (just like M&B Warband or Chivalry have) and where you have to learn to read the animations and not look at a damn arrow that tells you where the enemy is going to attack.

It runs on my core 2 duo. 10/10

Yes I can agree on the smooth performance. It's the first AAA game from Ubisoft in a while with such amazing performance AND gorgeous graphics. It's not an open world of course, so it's less impressive :P

True I was pretty surprised. I turned on msi afterburner and in most cases my cpu isn't even being maxed out hahah. I'm getting about 85% usage. Also I do agree with what you said with the hud. Maybe they can put a hardcore mode or something. Personally the game is good fun but I'd pay like 30 euro for it.

Ahah 85% usage on a core 2 duo for such a game is indeed impressive.

I thought that other people might want a more hardcore experience without these indications and that Ubisoft will eventually put a mode for those people. I guess we'll see. But with or without the HUD the game has quite the steep learning curve and high skill ceiling, that was the big surprise for me. I honestly expected a QTE-filled Chivalry wannabe ^^

I may be in the minority but I also love how you can use the environment for your advantage. Throwing people off a cliff never gets old.

Most definitely haha :P  Although I find it ironic that the first game in which my cpu isnt the bottleneck is a ubisoft title.

Yeah I saw a lot of complaints about that but I think it's awesome. You can really lose your mind if you get killed too many times like that, but it's overall a good idea. It adds some depth regarding positioning on specific maps
