Another 1050 vs 460 question.

So I've been trying to find answers but can't.  Apparently the ReLive update AMD did about a month or two ago got quite a bit of performance out of their new GPUs.  I'm building a new very budget gaming rig, and the only new part I think I'm going with is the GPU.

Now before ReLive, I know the 1050 (if I remember reading correctly on anandtech) that the 1050 is roughly 18% better performance, and I think with the cheapest one it's about 12% more cost.  (If I'm remembering the math I did correctly).

But if this update really did increase performance out of the GPUs, how does the RX 460 post ReLive stack up against the 1050?  
Sorry if this question has already been answered I haven't been able to find it.

 

Please keep in mind this isn't replacing my gaming laptop or my main rig back at home.  This build is mostly just for fun.

They are really close. Get whichever performs better in the games that you play:

The 2GB RX 460 is considerably slower than the 4GB, which in turn is a bit slower than the 1050.....

1050 is faster in general, although i would recommend a 1050ti

The 1050 is slightly superior in some games while the rx460 is better in some others... I honestly think the 1050 a better deal though be warned that 2gb of vram will be a bottleneck in many games already... if you can stretch to the 470 or 1050ti it would be for the best.
