Choosing My CPU

So I'm looking into making a build for Arma 3 that will allow me to play it around High-Ultra settings at 60+fps. Anyone have any recommendations (note I'm looking with the best bang for my buck, this dosent neeed to be a future proof PC as I will likely be playing Arma 3 for the next 4 years till I'm out of college and get a second job. (I'm currently at AIT for the Army learning to be an IT Specialist) then I will look into new games and upgrading my PC.

I like that build, and If I got my parts from a microcenter near my house it would bring down the cost quite a bit. I will have to relook at this agian in June when I acutally get home, and theres more price drops xD

And before someone recommends the 480, I want to point out that the 1060 outperforms the 480 by 20+ FPS in Arma 3, so the RX 480 is a no go.

For 1080p high/ultra at 60fps, a 1070 is overkill. The 1060 can get 70FPS, so @RAM555789 you can save some money by getting a 1060 6GB instead.

Sorry I actually read it wrong, I thought he wanted certain future-proof for 4 years, he can cheap up with a GTX 1060 6gb and only 8gb of RAM... would be enough.

Yeah I would honestly jsut stick a 120-240Gb SSD in my rig. When I go to pick my GPU it will really depend on what the prices look like in June, and I might look into refurbished/used parts.
