All youtube font is bold

So all the font on youtube has suddenly turned bold and I can't seem to get rid of it, I have tried clearing chrome cache, reinstalling chrome (so its not any of my extensions) and I don't know what else to do.

are you running an nvidia GPU on the latest drivers?

I have a fix for me at least.

The problem is that the font on my PC disappeared so there is just the bold version. 

 

To fix it go to this link and download the Roboto Font folder.

google.com/design/spec/resources/roboto-noto-fonts.html

 

Then go to c:\windows\fonts and drag all the fonts from the above folder and restart your PC.

OH MY GOD I have been trying to fix this for WEEKS and was about to reformat and this worked brilliantly, THANK YOU! Don't forget to restart Chrome after. 

 

And for the people searching for the problems that I was searching for...

 

All text in gmail, inbox, google search, google apps is bold. FIXED!

Registered here just to thank you, jcw150 !!!

Fixed even without restarting the Chrome. Only closed my Youtube and reopened in a new tab, all BOLD - gone.
