For some reason whenever I boot my PC it is almost like someone is holding down the 4 key. I tried changing keyboards and USB ports but no luck. I cannot sign into the PC because of the issue but the few times it stop the computer seemed to be fine for about 5-10mins then it began again. Any ideas on what to do?

Can you take off the '4' keycap? Is it a (laptop style) chicklet keyboard or not?

Does it still occur when you don't have that keyboard plugged in?

Removed and cleaned the key. I have also tried 2 other keyboards and the same thing is still happening.

have you tried resetting the BIOS, always a good place to start

It's an 'old' Lenovo workstation running an i5-2000somethng and wont let you access them for some stupid reason.

Can you open it up and access the small cmos switch, if there is one

I couldn't find one this morning but I also didn't look very hard this morning so I will check again.

I had an issue with a client's PC, except it was the number 6. It was from a malicious program they got. The check in paper work stated "Clients description of issue: Possessed!"

if you cant find one, check what motherboard you have in control center, search it in google to find a manual, which should tell you where it is located, i have a few stupid motherboards that have the switch under the gpu. If you still cant find it, look for a small battery instead to reset cmos

good point, go on uninstall a program in control center and delete any programs you know you don' need or want as well

It was really odd because the issue wasn't an issue until the next boot. And since my family and I are actually convinced our house is haunted (the previous owner was found dead of natural causes after about 2 months) maybe it is possessed lol.

I would use MalwareBytes and possibly another free Premium AV trial to search your PC for little nasties that have snuck into your system. Otherwise, You might need to cleanse the foul demon from your PC using the Holy Grenade of Antioch.
