New Windows Update Frustration...

I know I am going to get some hate for this, but I have been a fan of Windows 10.  However, I received an update about a month ago, and ever since then, my computer has been running terribly.  Some of the problems that I have encountered, but are not limited to:

- Steam has been randomly uninstalling my games

- I've been trying to run a virus scan, but every time I get to a certain point, a notification shows up saying that some settings need to be changed to continue on with the scan

- I cannot uninstall Steam using the Programs and Features window.

- File Explorer freezes all the time

I'm really at the point that I just want to do a fresh install unless someone has any clue on what to do

The exact notification says "You need to fix your Microsoft Account for apps on your other devices to be able to launch apps and continue experiences on this device"

I'm not sure if this still applies post Anniversary Update, but try and uninstall and block the update if you know which one it is (or go for broke): http://www.howtogeek.com/223864/how-to-uninstall-and-block-updates-and-drivers-on-windows-10/

Sorry to hear about your troubles. What anti-virus are you using? I've never heard about a windows update causing this type of problem... however I have heard about anti-virus doing very strange things to some games/directories.

I have been using AVG as my antivirus
