looking for the best graphics card i can get that i can use with my cpu? what do you guys use for those who use this processor?

Your CPU is not very strong. Highest I would go is AMD RX 470 / GTX 1050ti. Anything above those two would make your CPU bottleneck, not letting your graphics card push its limits. What is your current GPU, and would it be an idea to save money for a new CPU / Motherboard combo instead of a new GPU?

RX 470 or 1060 3GB is your max.

RX 470 4GB should do! (avoid anything with less than 4GB!)

Idk where OC on the 6300 but stock speed would put you at 1050 Ti, 1050, 460, 960, and 380/380x range as your GPU options. A 470/1060 is pushing it

i am currently saving up for a new processor and GPU . i currently have a gtx 950 and was wondering if i can do better just for the time being with my current CPU. by the end of summer i would be able to get something a whole lot better. =)

btw thank you guys for all of your responses. i went to facebook groups and i always get trashed by intel fanboys lol even though i will probably go intel when i save for whatever i decide to do next.

then i would suggest you get something that has great performance for the money...maybe something a bit overkill for that CPU but that would be useful later on...an RX 470/480 or a GTX 1060 6GB for example.
