Epic Budget Gaming PC

This is probably the most incredible budget gaming PC I have put together.  I haven't actually built it, as I have no reason to (I have an i7-6700k + GTX 1070 rig).  However, I was able to pull off putting a 525GB Crucial SSD, an RX 480 8GB, and an i5 processor in a $700 system.  That's right...$700.  How?  Somebody decided to sell a used i5-3450s for $110 on Amazon.  Yes, I did my research...the i5-3450s is still a decent gaming processor.  Now, this incredibly-priced processor will soon go away, but the next level up is $140 for an unused i5-3450s that includes a CPU cooler.  Take away the Hyper T2, and you end up with roughly the same price ($725).

Btw, if you've pulled off an even better bang-for-your-buck build, that's great!  Good job!   This is the best budget build that I have put together.  To be clear, I'm not trying to compete with anybody.

he wants good performance. that build will have very bad performance compared to the one with the RX 480.

Id have changed that to x5650 and x58 mobo, should be around the same price, but if you overclock the x5650 is leagues ahead of that i5. And I'd rather use a 780ti instead of a 480 in Australia the 780ti is like 100$ cheaper lol.

Just cross-checked that.  You're right!  Although...pcpartpicker didn't list the Xeon x5650, unfortunately.
