How far can the Gigabyte Windforce 2x GTX 960 can go?

I have a gtx 960 (GV-N960OC-4GD) and i would like to overclock it to its maximum potential (with MSI Afterburner) if you know what the max clock speed is comment below.

PS: i have 1 case fan though the place where i live is cold.

tbh i was able to get similar results in the high 1400s mhz but i didnt see much ingame performance improvement after like 1400mhz. i had to overclock the memory to see any improvement but it really didn't matter what core clock i had after a certain point.

Every card is different, just keep going up and keep testing

You can go as far as you like until you get this weird smell. By that time it's probably too late to even save it as the card is already fried. So next, you'll get a new GTX 960 and repeat the process.

Intel Xeon E5 1650 v3 @ 3.5GHz 6C:12T / CM212 Evo / Asus X99 Deluxe / 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3000 Trident-Z / Samsung 850 Pro 256GB / Intel 335 240GB / WD Red 2 & 3TB / Antec 850w / RTX 2070 / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy X360 15: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.6GHz 4C:8T / 8GB DDR4 / Intel UHD620 + Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB / Intel 120GB SSD / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy x360 BP series Intel 8th gen

AMD ThreadRipper 2!

5820K & 6800K 3-way SLI mobo support list

There is no answer for this as every card is different, it's called silicon lottery for a reason.

Keep increasing clock speed and run heaven test until see artifacts or freeze or black screen then stop and decrease clock speed a little bit and re test until find stable clocks.

Of course doing all this with voltage and power limit cranked to max

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C   Displays: 34" LG34UC79G, 24" Dell
