Does mumble work on LAN w/o internet?

Question is in the title: Does mumble work on LAN without internet?

 

Just wondering as, so far

Prosody won't allow me to add users on windows, no idea if i can connect or not though.

Squiggle voice chat won't work 

And I don't have internet on my lan, so discord and skype are out of the question.

Yes, as far as I know you do not need internet

Any good programs to host a mumble server?

I just hosted it right on top of a Linux box when I was hosting mine a while back, there should be a Windows server as well for it.

This is what I was remembering. Since you can host server from any PC, that server is available to all PCs connected to same network.
