USB or PCI-E

I need help choosing a Wireless Network Adapter so should I do USB or PCI-E

usb is cool as it's like really neat to have around, as it will work on any PC. PCI-E will just work better- like you boot up a new os and it will likely recognize it without special drivers. Also it's easier to attach an extended antenna to it. Also, it has less chance to overheat than usb sticks. I've seen usb ones get bad after big transfers locally or on really fast connections 

I personally prefer getting an adapter for mini pcie

just one think with the heat part, iv had both USB and PCI-e overheating personaly, so getting PCI-E isnt just solving the heat issue, get one with a heatsink(which any actiually decent PCI-E wifi adapter should have in the first place)

I persoanlly haven't had that issue, but I believe it.

yah, the problem occured when using one of Toiler Paper Links PCI-E cards, would stay away from there lower end stuff atleast. parents bought it because it was in store marketed as a gaming internet solution... it was horrible

that's why I use laptop cards in adapters. I just know which ones to avoid since I've had a lot of laptops with good and bad wifi cards, and get ones I like off of ebay for like 5$. Plus the laptop cards, good ones at least, are meant to not overheat even without ventilation

USB is portable. So is mini-PCIe (for laptops). Both are great for laptops (esp. for the new Mac but also for PC). If it's a desktop or home PC I'd say stick with a quality PCI-e adapter.
